Stuttgart Linde Open 2010

Due to a low pressure area crossing Germany on Saturday from Northwest to Southeast, we decided to cancel the competition. The front will push the balloons towards the alps, and there will be clouds and snowfall – no conditions to fly with a gas balloon. After the low pressure area will have crossed our region, the windspeed will be to high for balloon flights.

We will show the preparation of the balloons using a webcam on the launchfield.  Every minute the webcam will load a picture which you can see at: www.webcam.ballon-stuttgart.de.  The webcam will start working on Friday, March 5th at 9 o’clock.

Last Friday we  had our last big meeting for the preparation of the Stuttgart Linde Open.  We verified the status of the preparation and checked again that all organizers and staff are aware of their duties.
